KELLEN “BOBO” JONES ‘08 MEMORIAL GRANT: Each year, $500 grants are awarded to two senior student athletes. The students must have participated in their sport(s) during their senior year unless there have been extenuating circumstances. The successful applicants will exhibit the characteristics and attributes that made Kellen Jones a successful athlete, teammate and Ballard Beaver.
This grant may be used for any post high school vocational training, college, or license program. Apply now!! Deadline for applications is May 19, 2024.
Athletics helped Kellen build his confidence, develop leadership skills, understand the value of the team (family), learn from the experience of others and to build honor. The focus he learned on the football field and the track helped him in his educational and personal development. Kellen valued all of the sports BHS offered and, in addition to participating, was a frequent spectator who appreciated the efforts and achievements of his peers.
